ACCOMMODATION & CAMPING - FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY

There are three accommodation and camping options available for Friday night:

St Andrews Lodge – $55 per person

There are limited spaces available inside St Andrews Lodge. Accommodation is in large, single-sex dorm rooms.

Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

Guests have access to the lodge facilities including showers, toilets and kitchen.

St Andrews Lodge Camping – $35 per site

Camping is available at St Andrews Lodge specifically for the Valley Ultra. Registered campers have access to the showers, toilets and kitchen facilities at the lodge.

Please note: Access to both St Andrews Lodge and the St Andrews Lodge campsites requires a 4WD vehicle.

Lower Car Parking Area – $25 per vehicle

Camping is also available in the lower event car parking area for 2WD and 4WD vehicles, campervans, buses and larger vehicles.

Please remember this is private land, and we are extremely lucky to be allowed to use this area. Please respect the property and leave absolutely no trace.

There is no water available in this camping area. Public toilets are located a short walk away.

Everyone who has booked and paid for camping will be issued a camping pass at race pack pick-up. This must be clearly displayed in the front window of your vehicle.

We will be coming around on Friday evening to check that everyone camping has paid. Please abide by these rules so we can continue to offer this option in future years.

All accommodation and camping is for Friday night only, with check-in after 3.00pm.

 CONDITIONS

The Whole Hog is a gnarly course. This shouldn't be your first ultra experience. If you are new to ultra running then we suggest you take on the shorter course - The Piglet on your first time for the Valley Ultra - trust us when we say that course is still epic!

You must be fit and well when you undertake any of the Valley Ultra courses. We will have medical assistance on site but you must be starting the race in good condition.

We understand that injuries happen and we will happily change your distance if needed. Please do not undertake these courses if you aren't 100% sure you are ready for them. The last thing we want is to be sending in the helicopter to pick you up. A heli ride is cool but not if you have a medical team around you!

Your safety is our focus and if our medics or staff make the determination that you are not fit to start or continue on the course then we will remove you. We aren't being mean - we just want you back home safe at the end of the race. No race is worth putting yourself or others in danger for. Please follow the directions of the marshals and medics at all times.

You must be over the age of 18 to take part in the Whole Hog and over 17 to take part in the Piglet. Persons between the ages of 15-16 can take part in the Teacup when accompanied by an adult for the duration of the race. Persons over the age of 16 may compete in the Teacup without an accompanying adult. An additional waiver will need to be signed at kit check for any persons under the age of 18 and must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Please note that dogs are not allowed on the course.

 SUPPORTERS

Supporters are welcome at the event, in fact, we encourage you to bring your entourage. The main race village will have food and drinks available to purchase.

No pacers or external support is allow allowed for participants on the course but supporters are actively encouraged. Any assistance will result in the participant being disqualified from the event.
