There will be a mandatory kit check prior to the race. If you do not attend the kit check you will be unable to start the race.

Kids
The kids 2km race will start at 11:00am. Adults are permitted to run with their children. Adults do not need to register.
AID STATIONS
Aid Stations will be places along the course with nutrition, water and electrolytes. Aid Station locations will be published soon.
ACCOMMODATION
Cable Bay Adventure Park is a short drive from Nelson. We suggest booking accommodation at Cable Bay Holiday Park or in Nelson.
CUT OFF TIMES
Island Ultra 55km
Start: 6:30am
Pepin Island Entrance (23.5km): 5 hours from race start
Pepin Island Exit (32km): 6.5 hours from race start
Blue Hill Entrance (41km): 8 hours from race start
Finish (55km): 11hours from race start
CONDITIONS
You must be fit and well when you undertake the Island Ultra. We will have medical assistance on site but you must be starting the race in good condition.
We understand that injuries happen before and during the race, please use the medical team if you need them.
Your safety is our focus and if our medics or staff make the determination that you are not fit to start or continue on the course we will remove you. We aren't being mean - we just want you back home safe at the end of the race. No race is worth putting yourself or others in danger for. Please follow the directions of the marshals and medics at all times.
SUPPORTERS
Supporters are welcome at the event, in fact, we encourage you to bring your entourage.
There is plenty to do at Cable Bay Adventure Park from mountain bike riding, quad biking, your supporters won't get bored!
No pacers are allowed on the course but supporters are actively encouraged. Any assistance will result in the participant being disqualified from the event.
